Online guitar lessons

The lessons on this website are organized in six different sections. Each section is divided in five levels of difficulty. Check out by reading the descriptions below.

In this section you can find a complete list of scales and arpeggios that every guitarist should know! The scales are organized in many fingerboard positions and extensions (one octave, two octave, three octave and extended positions). This study is divided in 5 different levels.

This section is totally dedicated to guitar chords. Each chord is clearly shown with fingerings, root position, chord formula and photographs. We start studying open chords then barre positions and finally complex chord shapes. An extra category (Chord Extras) with lots of studies explains how to use and build extended chords, chord substitution rules, chord formulas, etc.

This course gives pretty much importance to rhythm guitar since it represents at least the 50% of the guitarist’s skills! The Rhythm Section includes many chord charts organized in 5 different levels where you’ll be able to practice with chords and strumming patterns in 2/4, ¾, 4/4, 5/4, 6/8, 12/8, etc. Also there are video and audio clips with many examples of rhythm patterns.
It’s the Lead Guitar Section for soloing. In this part of the website you’ll find backing tracks to play along with. There is a chord chart for each track which you should analyse to determine the right scales and arpeggios to improvise with. As usual the section is organized in 5 different levels.
In this section you’ll learn the rules of building scales and chords. You’ll understand chord progressions and how to analyse them in order to determine the right scales and/or arpeggios to improvise with. You’ll know how a scale is built and develop moving smoothly from position to position through the neck.
This is the section dedicated to your ear training and development. You can find many advices, exercises and tests to train you ear. You’ll be able to recognize intervals between notes, identify either a scale or a chord by ear. It’s an important skill you need to improve and develop in order to reproduce whatever you listen to (notes or chords) and also to musically express what’s in your head.
